I sit and watch the moon curve its way across the midnight sky
I like it most when I can sit with its light in my eyes
Ill watch just long enough to see it glow across the sea
I like to think that its a magic just reserved for me
Its days like this when I feel infinitely small
Like I dont really mean anything at all
I try to count the silver stars that I can se
I wonder as I count whether or not those stars, they see me
I need you most when the sun goes down
On another lazy day in this little lazy town
I close my eyes tight, you smile the smile you I love
Wrap youre arms around me as the moon glows in from above
Its days like this when I feel infinitely glad
Like Ive never spent a day of my life feeling sad
I walk along an empty beach, the sea is silver blue
Like the pleasant melancholy that washed over me before I found you
I dream your dreams and as we dream I see a thousand faces
A thousand promises of adventure in a thousand places
I like to think that when Im gone thats where my soul will fly
To see the land you call your own, beneath a brand new sky
Its days like this when I feel infinitely sweet
Knowing that one day our souls will get the chance to meet
Well walk hand in hand beneath a brighter sun
Knowing in our hearts, our perfect frozen hearts, that out beautiful eternity has come
